Community Service
The most important service we provide the community is the changing of people's lives by bringing them closer to God through Catholic Radio. CRN also provides free public service announcements on air to Catholic parishes, schools, diocesan organizations, and Catholic charitiable organizations.
Programming
We take the responsibility of broadcasting the Catholic Faith very seriously. We look to the Catechism of the Catholic Church as the boundaries of our Faith. The underlying purpose of our programming is evangilization and catechesis. Many Catholics desire a greater understanding of the Faith. All of us are in need of conversion. Our hope is to help motivate our listeners to seek a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church.

Catholic Radio Movement
The impressive growth of Catholic radio since 1997 is due to the response of the laity seeking to answer the Holy Spirit’s call. Several lay Catholic radio apostolates have began and grown throughout the country over the last 10 years. There are over 15,000 AM/FM radio stations in the United States. About 10% or 1500 are Protestant radio stations. Catholic radio is growing throughout the United States, touching more souls daily with the message of Christ’s love. In 1997, there were only seven Catholic radio stations broadcasting in the US. As of June 2009, there are over 150 Catholic Radio stations in the US.

"To proclaim Christ in the media at the dawn of the new millennium is not only a necessary part of the Church’s evangelizing mission; it is also a vital, inspiring and hope-filled enrichment of the media’s message. May God abundantly bless all those who honor and proclaim His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in the vast world of the means of social communication.” --Pope John Paul II, Message for World Media Day 2000, January 24, 2000

"As you work in Catholic radio stations you are at the service of the Word….The words that you broadcast each day are an echo of that eternal Word which became flesh. ... The Incarnation took place in a distant village, far away from the noisy imperial cities of antiquity…..By helping the heart of each person to open to Christ, you will help the world to open to hope and to that civilization of truth and love which is the most eloquent result of His presence among us. "
Pope Benedict XVI - The Identity and Mission of Catholic Radio Today Symposium - Vatican City, June 20, 2008
